Cynthia's focus is on family law litigation, collaborative law, and divorce mediation. She believes that family law is the most important and rewarding area of law in which a lawyer can practice. Divorce is a life changing event that forces one to reflect on who they are and what they want from life. Whether you are someone who is going through a divorce, or another serious family law matter, you need experienced, skilled and compassionate representation to help navigate the process. Cynthia and her team are here to help. Cynthia has practiced law for over 30 years and is admitted to the bar in both Massachusetts and New York. In addition to family law, her background includes experience in real estate and intellectual property matters (focus on artists, musuems and non-profits). Cynthia was formally trained as a mediator in 2000 and in collaborative law in 2011. She is a member and former Director of the Massachusetts Council for Family Mediation. She is a member of the Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council and former Co-Chair of the Charles River Collaborative Law Council, She is also a member of the Massachusetts Association of Trial Attorneys and Co-Chair of the Boston Region for Women Owned Law. Cynthia graduated from Whittier College School of Law (J.D.) and Boston University (B.S.). She also received a Certificate in Museum Studies from Tufts University.
